The Nest Day Home

Hi, I’m Tahira

I’m from Pakistan Lahore & love to run my dayhome because its deeply rewarding, albeit challenging, career that provides love & care because it allows us to combine a passion for nurturing children with the freedom of entrepreneurship. It offers a unique, intimate setting for early childhood development that feels more like family than a commercial center.

Philosophy:

My philosophy is that children are unique and valued citizens with rights and responsibilities.
Children are capable of initiating their own learning by building on each other’s strengths, facilitated by
educators as co-learners.
Care and education are interwoven and founded on relationships, strengthened by families and educators, who share responsibility and collaborate with the global community.
At our dayhome, besides lots of activities, Education is essential for children, as they are the future of our world. Their knowledge will keep our world alive and prosperous.
It’s time for children to learn the social and mental skills that are essential to their future growth and success. Early childhood education also provides an opportunity to learn about self-discovery and their
unique interests.
It also requires knowledge of how to make works of art and how to make & create music!
The environment is the ‘third teacher,’ encouraging exploration and imagination, reflecting the natural
world.
