🌈 Rainbows Day Home

Hi, I’m Tatiana

My name is Tatiana, and I am originally from Ukraine. I am a passionate early childhood educator and a mom to a little boy of a similar age to the children in my care. Being both a mother and an educator allows me to truly understand children’s needs, emotions, and developmental stages.
I love working with young children because at this age, they are like little sponges—curious, open, and eager to learn everything around them. I truly enjoy teaching them new skills, supporting their independence, and watching their personalities grow day by day. In my day home, I focus on learning through play, daily routines, creativity, and lots of communication. I value kindness, patience, respect, and the creation of a warm, safe environment where every child feels seen and loved.

Philosophy

I opened my day home during our immigration journey because I saw how much stress and change Ukrainian children were experiencing. Many of them had to leave their homes, families, and familiar surroundings. My goal was to create a safe, calm, and familiar space specifically for Ukrainian children, where they can hear their native language, feel understood, and adapt to a new country gently and without additional stress. I believe that emotional safety is the foundation for healthy development and successful learning.
Running my day home is more than a job for me — it is something I truly love and feel deeply connected to. Seeing children feel happy, confident, and secure brings me so much joy and purpose every single day.
